Mountain Village was founded in 1987 and incorporated in 1995. If you love to ski you will love the many local ski-in-ski-out accomodations available and the almost no waiting lift access. The Village core is 92 acres with everything you could ask for including equipment rentals and lift ticket windows. With over 3,000 acres of national forest nearby, you can go hiking or biking during the spring, summer and fall. There is every kind of recreation for every age group right here in this area.
Telluride is nestled in a box canyon between peaks of 13,000 feet at the base of Telluride Ski Mountain. The town is 8,750 feet above sea level. Telluride is known for its weekend festivals all summer long. Come for music, artists, actors and writers festivals. We even have hot air balloons.
