April 6   KOTO Street Dance   Telluride closes main street for an annual après-ski, end-of-season celebration and concert that features live music, dancing and a beer garden. April 7th is reserved i case of inclement weather.

June

 

June 3  Telluride Art Walk Telluride Art Walk brochures that list participating venues and artists are available at the Stronghouse Studios (283 S. Fir Street) and any participating venue.

June 4 - 6  Telluride Balloon Rally At sunrise, the skies above Telluride fill with colorful hot-air balloons. At sunset, Telluride's main street is the setting for the annual balloon glow (weather permitting).

June 5  Huck Finn & Becky Thatcher Day  Dress the kids up as Huck finn or Becky Thatcher for a parade followed by a fishing and costume contest at the kid's pond in Telluride Town Park.

June 7 - 13  Wild West Fest  A family oriented festival that celebrates the spirit of the West: Events include celebrity cutting on horseback and performances at the Sheridan Opera House.

June 12 - 13  Telluride Heritage Festival  Celebrate Telluride's colorful and storied past. Venture back in time and walk along historic main street where Butch Cassidy once roamed.

June 17   Telluride Bluegrass Festival  This popular festival features four days of bluegrass music on the stage in Telluride Town Park.

June 20 - 26  Bike Week   A week-long celebration to promote cycling for both transportation and recreation.

June 24 - 27  Telluride Wine Festival

June 29 - 4  Telluride Plein-Air  National landscape artists paint in the great outdoors. Their work is then exhibited and auctioned as a fundraiser for the Sheridan Arts Foundation.
